The owners of a 2017 Lincoln Navigator contacted the Oxnard Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen.  Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Lincoln Navigator.

A short while later officers from Oxnard Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Lincoln Navigator with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle and located it in the city of Oxnard. One suspect was arrested and booked for the theft of the vehicle.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Lincoln Navigator at Vista Ford in December 2016.
