The owners of a Toyota Tundra contacted the Denver PD to report that their vehicle had been stolen.  An officer verified the theft and had the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime computers.  This routine action automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the truck.

A short while later officers with the Aurora PD picked up the silent LoJack signals from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from their PTCs, the officer tracked and recovered the truck.  It was returned to the owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Tundra in April 2006
