The owners of a 2015 Ford Transit Van contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen from in front of their residence in the 2800 block of Wind Storm Ave.  The owners had parked it and left it locked and when they returned to use it the next morning they found it missing so they notified police.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

A short while later officers from North Las Vegas Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the 3700 block of Iverson where it was located abandoned.  The Ford was recovered and returned back to the owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford Transit in April of 2015 at Friendly Ford, Las Vegas, Nevada
