The owner of a 2009 Honda Accord contacted the Tulsa Police Department to report their vehicle was stolen.  The Tulsa PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda Accord.

Shortly after the activation, deputies with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles.  Following the silent and directional cues from the PTC, the Honda was tracked to a commercial parking lot.  The deputy verified the Honda’s stolen vehicle status and notified the owner of the recovery location.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Accord in December 2008 at Spirit Honda in El Monte, California.
