The owners of a 2015 Lexus NX200 contacted the Riviera Beach Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen from in front of their residence. The Riviera Beach Police verified the theft and had the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime computers.  This routine action automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Lexus.

A short while later officers from the Riviera Beach Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signals from the stolen Lexus with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from their PTCs, the officers tracked the vehicle to a parking lot at 1944 Marsh Harbor Drive, in Riviera Beach, Florida. The vehicle was recovered unoccupied, with no damage and returned to the owner after crime scene processing.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Lexus NX200 in February, 2005 at Lexus of Palm Beach, in Palm Beach, Florida.
