The owners of a 1999 Chrysler Town & Country contacted the Brockton Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen. The Brockton Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chrysler.

Minutes later officers on patrol for the Brockton Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Chrysler with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a residential address and recovered the stolen vehicle.  The recovered occurred less than thirty (30) minutes after the vehicle had been reported stolen.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Chrysler Town & Country in February of 1999 at Kelley Jeep Chrysler in Plymouth, MA.
