The owners of a 2001 Honda Odyssey contacted the Boston Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen. The Boston Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

A short while later officers from the Boston Police Department and troopers from the Massachusetts State Police picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers from the Boston Police Department were able to track the vehicle to a residential address and recover the unoccupied Honda.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Odyssey in October of 2000 at Bernardi Honda in Natick, MA.
