The owner of a 2014 Toyota Corolla contacted the Philadelphia Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of the apartment complex where he resides in Philadelphia.  The Philadelphia Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2014 Toyota Corolla.

A short while later officers from the Philadelphia Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their  patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a parking lot at the Andorra shopping mall in Philadelphia, where the vehicle was located parked and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2014 Toyota Corolla in February of 2016, at Toyota of Turnersville in N.J.
