The owners of a 2018 Maserati Levante Sport contacted the Ocean Township Police Department to report that sometime during the overnight, his vehicle was stolen from his driveway in Ocean Township. The key was in the vehicle when it was stolen.  The Ocean Township Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2018 Maserati Levante Sport.

A short while later officers from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Maserati with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to Fourth Street in the City of Newark, where the vehicle was located parked on the street.  The vehicle was recovered undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2018 Maserati Levante Sport in May of 2018 at Maserati – Ferrari of Central N.J.
