LoJack® System Helps the Doral Police Department Recover a Stolen 2018 Honda Accord

The owners of a 2018 Honda Accord came outside of their home and saw that their new car had been stolen, they immediately notified the Police.  The responding Officer from the Miami-Dade Police Department took the report, verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

A short while later Officers from the Doral Police Department picked up the silent and directional signal being broadcast from the stolen vehicle and tracked the stolen Honda to the Atlantic Apartments, in Doral, Florida.  The vehicle was recovered parked and unoccupied the same day it had been stolen, with no damage.  The vehicle was processed for prints and returned to the owner. Police investigation continues.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Accord in July of 2018 at South Motors, in Miami, Florida.
