The owner of a Nissan Maxima contacted the Ft Worth Police Dept  to report that his vehicle had been stolen.  The owner parked his vehicle at his apartment complex and when he returned to it found it missing.

A short while later officers from the Tarrant County Task Force picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Nissan with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the stolen Nissan to the 4200 block of South Freeway where they found it parked at a motel.  Officers contacted the motel manager who directed them to the motel room that the suspect was staying.  Officers gained entry into the motel room and arrested the suspect who drove the stolen Nissan to the motel.  The suspect was a member of a white supremist group and had an active parole violation warrant.  The Nissan was recovered in good condition.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Nissan Maxima in August of 1997 at Koeppel Nissan in Jackson Heights, NY.
