The owners of a 2010 Toyota Yaris came outside of their home to find that their vehicle was gone.  The owner contacted the Miami Dade Police Department to report that the vehicle was stolen.  The responding Officer prepared a police report, theft affidavit and had the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime information computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System transponder concealed in the vehicle.  Police patrol vehicles, helicopters, and fixed wing aircraft equipped with Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) began to search for stolen vehicle.

When the silent LoJack® registered an activation alert, Officers located the vehicle which was parked, unoccupied at 13140 Port Said Road.  The vehicle was recovered intact, with no damage.  The vehicle was processed for prints and returned to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2010 Toyota at Palm Beach Toyota, in West Palm Beach Florida.
