The owner of a 2006 Ford F-250 Truck came outside of his home to find that his truck was gone.  The owner contacted the Hollywood Police Department to report that the vehicle was stolen.  The responding Officer prepared a police report, theft affidavit and had the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime information computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System transponder concealed in the vehicle.  Police patrol vehicles, helicopters, and fixed wing aircraft equipped with Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) began to search for stolen vehicle.

When the silent LoJack® registered an activation alert, Officers located the vehicle which was parked, unoccupied at 3350 El Jardin Drive.  The vehicle was recovered intact, with no damage.  The vehicle was processed for prints and returned to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2006 Ford F-250 at AutoNation Ford in St. Petersburg, Florida.
