The owners of a 2016 Range Rover called the Brielle Police Department to report that sometime during the night his vehicle was stolen from the driveway of his home in Brielle. The keys were in the vehicle when it was stolen.

The Brielle Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2016 Range Rover.

A short while later, officers from the Union Township Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Range Rover with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to Morrison Ave in Union Township where the vehicle was located parked and unoccupied. The vehicle was recovered undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2016 Range Rover in December of 2015 at Jaguar – Land Rover of Monmouth, N.J.
