The owners of a 2016 Chrysler 200 contacted the San Diego Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen in the city of San Diego.

San Diego Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chrysler.

Within 13 minutes, officers from San Diego Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Chrysler 200 with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the 900 block of Missouri Street in the city of San Diego.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Chrysler 200 in October 2015 at Poway Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, Poway, California.
