The owners of a 2016 Ford Flex contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen from the valet area of a casino in the 3800 block of Las Vegas Blvd.  The owners had parked the Ford in valet and had given control of the keys to a valet attendant.  The attendant left the keys in the Ford while parking other vehicles.  Two individuals were seen on video entering the Ford and driving off with it.  When the owners went to retrieve the Ford it was discovered to be missing to they called the police.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

12 minutes later officers from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the intersection of Harmon and Koval where they found the Ford abandoned but unharmed.  The Ford was then recovered and returned to the owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford Flex in December of 2016 at Team Ford, Las Vegas, Nevada.
