The owner of a 2015 Nissan Rogue contacted the Baltimore County Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from the area of 1000 Circle Drive in the Wilkins area of Baltimore County, Maryland. Baltimore County Police Radio dispatched an officer from the 1st Precinct to investigate the incident. The officer quickly arrived on location, interviewed the complainant and surveyed the area for the subject vehicle. When the officer was unable to locate the vehicle, a stolen vehicle report was prepared. The officer then arranged for the stolen vehicle information to be entered into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2015 Nissan Rogue.

A short while later, officers from Baltimore County Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen 2015 Nissan Rogue with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the intersection of Greenwich Avenue and Charring Cross Road in the Woodlawn area of Baltimore County, Maryland. At this location, officers observed the vehicle parked and unoccupied. The undamaged vehicle was recovered by police and the owner notified.

Approximate value of vehicle: $16,475.00

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2015 Nissan Rogue in February, 2015 at Sheehy Nissan of Glen Burnie in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
