The owner of a 2001 Ford F-350 walked outside of his business to find that his F-350 pick-up truck was missing.  The owner contacted the Hialeah Police Department to report that the 2001 F-350 was stolen.  The responding Officer prepared a stolen vehicle report, theft affidavit and had the vehicle’s information entered into the state and federal crime information computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System transponder concealed in the vehicle.  Police patrol vehicles, helicopters, and fixed wing aircraft equipped with Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) began to search for stolen vehicle.

When the silent LoJack® registered an activation alert, Officers began to search for the vehicle.  Officers in Southern Miami Dade County equipped with LoJack® tracking computers responded and located the vehicle.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2001 Ford F-350 at Precision Contracting Services in Jupiter, Florida.
