The owner of a 2005 Toyota Solara contacted the Concord Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen. The Concord Police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota Solara.

A short time later, an officer from the Concord Police Department was directed to the stolen vehicle by the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota Solara with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) which are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the vehicle was tracked, and was located unoccupied, to rear of a shopping center at Clayton Road and Bailey Road.

The stolen Toyota Solara was recovered by the Concord Police and the vehicle was towed/stored for safe keeping, to be returned to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2005 Toyota Solara in March of 2007, at Power Toyota, in Buena Park, CA.
