The owners of a 2018 Ford Edge contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen from in front of their house in the 500 block of Anatolia Ln.  The owners had parked the car and were unsure if they had left it unlocked.  They did however say they left a spare key in the Ford.  When they discovered it missing they notified police.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

A short while later officers from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a residential neighborhood in the 1900 block of Roxford where it was located unoccupied.  The Ford was recovered and returned back to the owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford Edge in January of 2018 at Friendly Ford, Las Vegas, Nevada.
