The owner of a 2015 Toyota Camry contacted the Houston Police Dept to report that his vehicle had been stolen.  The owner parked his vehicle in his front driveway and when he returned to it found it missing.

The Houston Police Dept verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

A short while later officers from the Houston Police Dept picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the stolen Toyota to a pawn shop and observed it parked in the parking lot.  Officers set up surveillance and observed two suspect leave the pawn shop and get into the stolen Toyota and drive off.  Officers were able to stop the stolen Toyota and they arrest the driver.  The Toyota was recovered in good condition.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Camry in June of 2015 at Mike Calvert Toyota in Houston, TX.
