The owner of a 2011 Cadillac Escalade contacted the Oklahoma City Police Department to report their vehicle was stolen.  The Oklahoma City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Cadillac Escalade.

Approximately 50 minutes after the activation, officers with the Oklahoma City PD Santa Fe Division picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Cadillac with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the silent and directional cues from the PTC, the Cadillac was tracked and found to be occupied.  Officers made contact with the stolen Cadillac and took two subjects into custody.  Both subjects were arrested and the Cadillac was recovered before it could be used to commit additional crimes.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Cadillac Escalade in August 2013 via Direct Sales in Dallas, Texas.
