Yet another set of Honda Civic owners had their car stolen from their residence. They contacted the Denver Police Department and filed the auto theft report.

A police officer verified the theft and had the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime computers. This routine action on the part of law enforcement automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

A short while later officers with the Aurora Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTCs, these officers and deputies with the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office tracked the stolen Honda to the 4500 of Flanders Way and arrested two suspects.

The Civic was returned to the very surprised and happy owners who did not know that a prior owner of the Honda had the LoJack installed.

The LoJack® System was installed in this 1998 Honda Civic in February 2010 at Mile High Honda Mitsubishi Acura in Denver, Colorado.
