The owner of a 2010 Porsche Panamera contacted the Gwinnett County Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their home during the night.

The Gwinnett County PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Porsche.

A short while later officers from the Gwinnett PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Porsche with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Porsche to an apartment complex in the county where it was located with a person inside asleep. A detective was called to the scene for further investigation.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Porsche Panamera in January 2010 at Champion Porsche in Pompano Beach, Florida.
