The owner of a 2011 Toyota Rav4 called the Pennsauken Police Department to report that he came out of his house this morning and found that his vehicle was missing from his driveway in Pennsauken.

The Pennsauken PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota Rav4.

A short while later, officers from the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Toyota to a shopping center on Kings Highway in the town of Swedesboro. The Toyota was recovered parked and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2011 Toyota Rav4 in November 2010 at Toyota of Turnersville in Turnersville, New Jersey.
