IMG_1416 The owners of an Acura TSX contacted the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office to report that their vehicle had been stolen from their residence.

A sheriff’s deputy verified the theft and had the vehicle information entered into the state and federal crime computers. This routine action on the part of law enforcement automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Acura.

A short time later the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Acura was picked up on a LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC).

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTCs, deputies were quickly able to locate the stolen Acura. The Acura was found unoccupied and was returned to the owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Acura TSX in August 2009 at Colorado Mile High Honda in Denver.
