The owners of a 2016 Toyota Corolla contacted the Atlanta Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from a hotel parking garage while they were inside eating.

The owner had taken his family out to eat in downtown Atlanta and when they came out the Toyota was gone.

The Atlanta PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

A short while later officers from the Atlanta PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a side street in Atlanta where it was located with no one around.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Corolla in October 2016 at Atlanta Toyota in Georgia.
