This Ford Mustang was stolen by a person known to the owner without permission. It was taken from her residence located in the 19000 block of 8th Street Court East in Bonney Lake. The theft was reported to the Bonney Lake Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mustang.

Less than two hours later, a Pierce County Sheriff Department deputy, equipped with a LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC), received the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Mustang. Following audio and visual cues from the PTC, he located the Mustang parked in the 20100 block of 117th Street East in Bonney Lake. The Mustang was abandoned and apparently undamaged.

A suspect has been identified and an arrest is pending.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford Mustang in April 2017 at Marysville Ford in Washington.
