LoJack System Helps New York Police Department Recover a Stolen 2017 Honda CR-V

The owner of the Honda CR-V parked on the street in front his house. When he came out for the Honda the next day he found it missing. This was in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn. He immediately called the New York Police Department of the 69 precinct. The NYPD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda CR-V.

A short while later the silent LoJack signal was picked up by the NYPD 75 precinct officers on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer in their vehicle. This was in the East New York section of Brooklyn confines of the 75 precinct. Officers tracked the Honda to a commercial area; there they found the vehicle parked on the street in the commercial area, amongst all the commercial vehicles. They staked the Honda out for a short while but when no showed up for it, they took it into custody. The Honda was recovered with no damage.

5-Month Old Car Returned to Owner with No Damage

The owner was contacted and he was elated that his Honda was recovered so quickly, especially with no damage. He further stated that he was happy that when he bought the Honda he also purchased the LoJack® System with it. He further stated that he really feels he got his money’s worth by purchasing LoJack, especially since he purchased it so recently. He went on to say that if it weren’t for LoJack his Honda may never have been recovered.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2017 Honda CR-V in April 2017 at Plaza Honda in Brooklyn, New York.
