The owners of a 2016 Toyota Corolla contacted the Clayton County Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from her home after hearing a noise outside.

The Clayton County PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

A short while later the Clayton County PD helicopter equipped with a LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) began receiving the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the PTC that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the pilot tracked the Toyota to an apartment complex and after calling an officer on the ground to assist in tracking the stolen Toyota, it was located with two people inside. With the help of the police helicopter the officer was able to make two arrests on the stolen Toyota and the suspects were transported to the city jail on the theft.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Corolla in June 2016 via Direct Sales in Georgia.
