The owner of the 2009 Suzuki GSXR1000 motorcycle had it parked in his driveway of his home. When he got up in the morning he found the Suzuki missing. This was in the Laurelton section of Queens, confines of the 105 precinct. He immediately called the New York Police Department 105 precinct. The NYPD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Suzuki.

A short while later the silent LoJack signal was picked up in New York City Queens by the Detectives of the Auto Crime Division. This was in the Jamaica section of Queens’s confines of the 113 precinct. They tracked the signal through various streets in Jamaica where it eventually led them to a private house. Once it was confirmed that the signal was coming from a garage in the rear yard a search warrant was obtained. Once the search warrant was executed, the bike was located inside the garage. After an investigation the detectives identified a male who lives in the house as the person responsible for the Suzuki being in the garage but he left before the search warrant was issued. With the suspect identified, an arrest is imminent.

The owner was contacted and he was elated that his bike was recovered especially that it was recovered in good condition.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2009 Suzuki in March 2011 at Two Wheel Corporation in Mineola, New York.
