The owners of a 2014 Honda CRV contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from the 10000 block of White Heath Cir. The owners had parked the Honda in front of their residence and inadvertently left the key fob inside the Honda. The owners came out of their house later in the day and found the Honda missing.

A police officer verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

One minute later troopers from the Nevada Highway Patrol picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the troopers tracked the Honda to the intersection of Constantinople and Vegas Vista. The Honda was unoccupied and unharmed. The Honda was recovered and returned back to the happy owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda CRV in October 2014 at Findlay Honda in Long Beach, California.
