This Subaru Impreza was stolen sometime during the night from the owner’s residence located in the 1600 block of North 38th Street in Seattle. When the theft was discovered it was reported to the Seattle Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Subaru.

Just thirty minutes later, a King County Sheriff’s Office deputy picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Subaru. Following the directional and audible cues from the Police Tracking Computer (PTC) installed in his patrol car, the deputy located the Subaru in the 9200 block of 17th Avenue Southwest in White Center, south of Seattle. The only damage appeared to be to the ignition switch.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Subaru Impreza in December 2011 at Cityside Subaru in Belmont, Massachusetts, at the request of the owner.
