The owner of a 2006 Cadillac Escalade contacted the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department to report that his vehicle was stolen from the city of Moreno Valley.

The Riverside County SD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Cadillac.

Within 13 minutes, officers from the Riverside Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Cadillac with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Cadillac to the 150 block of Vine Street in the city of Riverside.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Cadillac Escalade in August 2005 at Renick Cadillac in Fullerton, California.
