This Honda Element was stolen during the daylight hours from the owner’s residence located in the 7200 block of 28th Avenue Northeast in Seattle.  When the theft was discovered, it was immediately reported to the Seattle Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

Later that day, a Seattle PD officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) installed in his patrol car.  Following the directional and audible cues on the PTC, the Honda was located at 16th Avenue West and Thorndyke Avenue West.  The Honda was abandoned and apparently not damaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Element in October 2008 at Honda Auto Center in Bellevue, Washington.
