The owner of 2011 Toyota Forklift construction equipment contacted the Corona Police Department to report that his machine was stolen in the city of Corona.

The Corona PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

At a later time, officers from the Riverside Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota Forklift with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the forklift to the front yard of a residence located in the 6000 block of Norwood Ave in the city of Riverside.  One suspect was arrested for vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.

The officers also recovered a 2011 Nissan forklift in the rear yard of the residence.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Forklift in March 2013 at Commercial Sales.
