The owners of a Honda Accord contacted the Buena Park Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen in the city of Buena Park.

The Buena Park PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

A short while later officers from the Corona Police Departments picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Honda to South Main street west of 3rd Street in the city of Corona. A traffic stop was made and two suspects were arrested for evading arrest, vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.

The Honda had previously been stolen in October 2016, tracked and recovered with LoJack by the Corona Police Department.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Accord in November 1996 at Canyon Honda in Anaheim, California.
