The Ford F350 is leased to a major race track in Ozone Park Queens.  The Ford, which was parked at its usual parking place on the grounds, was found missing by the foreman. Immediately upon discovery of the theft he called the New York Police Department of the 106 precinct of Ozone Park Queens. When the police responded they took a written report. The NYPD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford F350.

A short while later the silent LoJack signal was picked up by officers of the 102 precinct in Richmond Hill Queens. They tracked the signal through various streets of Richmond Hills; eventually locating the van parked on a residential street. The officers staked the van out for a short while, when their patience was rewarded. A male entered the van, before he had a chance to pull away; the police immediately closed in on him and placed him under arrest before he had the chance to drive away.

The foreman was contacted and notified of the recovery. He was elated that the van was recovered so quickly as it is a vital part of his work day. He was also elated that his van was recovered in good condition.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2008 Ford F350 in March 2008 via Commercial Sales in Atlanta, Georgia.
