The owner of a 2005 Hyundai Sonata contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen.  The owner was having some work done on his residence and had many contractors in and out of his house during the day.  He had placed the keys to his Cadillac on the kitchen counter in house.  After the contractors all left he went to leave the residence and could not find his keys.  He then went outside and found his Cadillac missing.

A police officer verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Hyundai.

A short while later officers from the Henderson PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Hyundai with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC the officers tracked the Hyundai to a residential neighborhood in the 500 block of Credence Ave.  The Hyundai was unoccupied and unharmed.  The Hyundai was recovered and returned back to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Hyundai Sonata in July 2005 at Planet Hyundai in Las Vegas, Nevada.
