The owners of a 2006 Infiniti G35 contacted the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department to report that their vehicle was stolen. Deputies verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti G35.

A short while later an officer from the Montebello Police Department had just pulled out of his station and picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti G35 with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC the officer broadcasted that information and with the assistance of another LoJack equipped vehicle, tracked the Infiniti to a residential street in Montebello and located the stolen Infiniti parked containing one male adult. Officers detained this male who had been in the passenger seat and was told that a female had driven the Infiniti.  Officers searched however were unable to locate the mysterious female. The suspect was arrested and later booked for the theft.  The Infiniti was processed and stored for safe keeping.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti G35 in March 2006 at Glendale Infiniti in California.
