The owners of 2004 Cadillac Escalade contacted the Henry County Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen during the night while they were at home asleep.

The Henry County PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Escalade.

A short while later a Fulton County Police Department unit picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Cadillac with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC the officer tracked the Cadillac to a restaurant parking lot where it was found abandoned and in good condition.

The Cadillac was towed to a local towing service until the owner could be notified of the recovery.

The LoJack® System was installed in Cadillac Escalade in April 2004 at Hennessey Cadillac in Marietta, Georgia.
