The owner of a 2014 Nissan Maxima called the Hamilton Township Police Department to report that sometime during the night someone stolen her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway in Hamilton Township.

The Hamilton Township PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Nissan Maxima.

A short while later, officers from the Burlington Township Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Nissan with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Nissan to a shopping mall parking lot on Route 130 in Burlington Township. The Nissan was recovered parked and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2014 Nissan Maxima in March 2014 at Turnersville Nissan in New Jersey.
