The owner of a 2015 Honda Civic contacted the Baltimore County Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from the 12000 block Tarragon Road in the Reistertown area of Baltimore County, Maryland. Baltimore County Police Radio dispatched an officer from the Franklin Precinct to investigate the incident. The officer quickly arrived on location, interviewed the complainant and surveyed the area for the subject vehicle. When the officer was unable to locate the vehicle, a stolen vehicle report was prepared. Investigation on the scene found that the vehicle had been stolen with the keys. The officer then arranged for the stolen vehicle information to be entered into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2015 Honda Civic.

A short while later, officers from the Baltimore City Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signals from the stolen 2015 Honda Civic with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles and helicopters. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to the 6200 block Park Heights Avenue in the Park Heights area of Baltimore City, Maryland. At this location, officers recovered the vehicle and arrested the operator. Police also notified the owner of the vehicle recovery.

Approximate value of vehicle: $ 14,625.00
