The owners of a 2006 Ford Expedition contacted the San Antonio Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their residence. San Antonio Police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the State and Federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford SUV.

A short while later officers from the San Antonio Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford SUV with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a residential neighborhood where the vehicle was parked and abandoned. The vehicle was processed and released back to the grateful owner. The vehicle has only minor entry and ignition damage.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford Expedition in March 2006 at Red MC Combs Ford, SAN ANTONIO, TX
