This Honda Civic was stolen during a late night residential burglary.  While the owner was asleep, the burglar entered the house through a rear sliding door that was not locked.  This occurred in the 4700 block of NE 72nd Avenue in Vancouver.  The Honda was taken as well as other items in the house.

When the crime was discovered it was reported to the Vancouver Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.
That same afternoon, a Vancouver PD officer, equipped with a LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC), picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda.  Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Honda was located in the 1200 block of W 23rd Street in Vancouver.  It was abandoned and apparently undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Civic in February 2006 at AutoNation Honda Miami Lakes in Miami, Florida.
