The owners of an Infiniti G35 contacted the Broken Arrow Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from a residence in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
The Broken Arrow PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.
A short while later an officer with the Tulsa Police Department’s Riverside Division picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.
Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officer began tracking the moving vehicle and soon observed the stolen Infiniti in the area of 2300 S Sheridan Rd. Additional officers soon arrived to assist as the Infiniti was occupied by three individuals.
The stolen Infiniti was eventually stopped at 2200 S Sheridan Rd. The driver and two passengers were taken into custody.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti G35 July 2004 at Sewell Infiniti in Dallas, Texas.
