The owner of a 2014 Nissan Altima contacted the Gloucester Township Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen from their driveway in the Blackwood, New Jersey.

The Gloucester Township PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Nissan Altima.

A short while later, officers from the Moorestown Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Nissan with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Nissan to a storage yard for a local towing company where the vehicle was recovered. The Moorestown PD is investigating the recovery.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2014 Nissan Altima in April 2014 at Nissan Turnersville in New Jersey.
