The owners of a 2010 Hyundai Accent contacted the New Orleans Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from in front of the St Roch residence.

The owner informed the officers that late that night they went outside to retrieve something from the Hyundai and discovered their Hyundai to had been stolen from in front their home.
The New Orleans PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Hyundai.

A short while later troopers from the Louisiana State Police picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Hyundai with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the troopers tracked the Hyundai to Esplanade Ridge area of New Orleans. Troopers found the stolen Hyundai parked on the street in good condition. Because of the quick recovery of the stolen Hyundai troopers were able to locate key evidence that may help them solve this auto theft.
The Hyundai was returned to the happy owners in great shape.
