The owners of a 2010 Honda Accord contacted the Baton Rouge Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from in front their residence that afternoon.
The owner related to the officers that they parked and secured the Honda in front the residence but returned a few hours later to find it had been stolen.

The Baton Rouge PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

A few minutes later officers/pilots in the Baton Rouge PD Airship 1 picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the pilots tracked the Honda and found it parked on the street in the Beauregard Town area. The Honda Accord was in great shape and turned over to the happy owners.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2010 Honda Accord in April 2010 at Honda Mall of Georgia in Buford.
