The owner of the Honda Accord parked his vehicle on the street where he lives and where he normally parks it. When he came out the next day he found it missing.  This was in Woodside section of Queens confines of the 108 precinct. He immediately called the New York Police Department of the 108 precinct.

When the NYPD officers arrived, they took a written report for the stolen Honda.  This information was then entered by the NYPD in the city, state and federal crime computer which automatically activated the LoJack® System in the stolen Honda.

A short while later the silent LoJack signal was picked up on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer by members of the 68 precinct. This was in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, confines of the 68 precinct. They tracked the signal to a residential area of Bay Ridge. There they located the Honda parked on the street, unoccupied and they decided to stake the vehicle out. After a short while when no one came for the Honda they took it into custody. The Honda was recovered in good condition with no damage.

The owner was contacted and he was elated that his Honda was recovered so quickly, especially with no damage. He further stated that he was happy that when he bought the Honda it was equipped with the LoJack® System stating that if it wasn’t for LoJack it may not have been recovered at all.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2007 Honda Accord in August 2009 at Paragon Honda Woodside in Queens, New York.
